Seth Starts 2010 In The Winners Circle
I wasn’t lying last week when I wrote that we would be seeing everyone in the winners circle this year. After the pain and frustration of last season 2010 could not have started any better with Seth winning the Grays Harbor 360 sprint winged opener.
The night started with qualifying and Seth was first out on the track. He posted a time of 12.000 which would not be matched be by the rest field so 2010 got away to a great start with Seth setting quick time for the night.
As a result of setting the best time of the night Seth started 6th for his heat race due to inversion. He started on the outside of 2009 track champion Glen Borden Jr with other local shoe Heny Van Damm starting in fourth. Seth quickly showed that he has a different car 2010 as he was able to make his way through the field to take 2nd at the stripe just being pipped by Van Damm.
The inversion for the A-Main saw Seth starting fourth right next to local driver Mitch Olson. Glen Borden Jr started on the pole and the team knew
he would be the one to catch. Seth got off to a great start taking 3rd on the third on the first lap and then moved up to second on the proceeding when the caution came out for 11w Shane Broers. From there it was a game of chase leader as Seth stayed on the heels of Borden Jr. On lap eight Seth made his move and got around Borden as he got slowed by a back marker and from their the 23 checked out as he was able to slice his way through the field for next 17 laps and take the opening 360 race of the season at Grays Harbor.
Stay tuned for updates each week. We will be back at Grays Harbor again next week for their regular 360 show.
