Ready To Go For Phase 2 Of ASCS National Tour Racing

It feels like an eternity since Seth and the team was down at Mesquite Texas for the opening weekend of the ASCS Lucas Oil K&N Filters National Tour. Midwest storms wiped out racing in Oklahoma the following week but after weeks of waiting ASCS National Tour racing resumes on Saturday at the I-30 Speedway in Little Rock Arkansas.

Seth and Mike arrived in Little Rock on Thursday after 4 days of traveling on the road. “Its great to be back out here I am just so eager to get out there and start racing again” said Seth when I spoke to him on the phone on Wednesday.

The team took a lot away from the opening weekend and while Seth didn’t make the feature either night the team was happy with his effort considering his time out of the seat.

Seth’s only run since Mesquite came last weekend at Cottage Grove Speedway. Seth was traveling well in 3rd place with ten laps to go before he spun out going into turn four. Roger Crockett was the eventual winner of the race.

The team is on the road for the next month with races being held in Arkansas, Illinois, Kansas, Missouri and Tennessee. At the end of those races the team will make a decision as to whether they will stay out there for the National Speedway or return back to Washington.
