After months of long nights of working on the cars the day has finally arrived that Seth and the team has been waiting for Depature Day. Seth and crew members Jeff Carr and Mike Messer left Snohomish today and are on their way down to Mesquite Texas with crew chief and owner Steve Bergman flying in on Thursday night. “I can’t believe this day is finally here, I am just so excited to get out there and start racing”, said Seth when I spoke to  him before the crew headed out.

The ASCS Lucas Oil National sprint car Tour commences this weekend in Mesquite Texas at Devils Bowl speedway and you can watch both nights of racing live on VS. It is going to be a “Red Hot” field as the ASCS website has confirmed that close to 80 cars will be competing this weekend. “This is a great opportunity for me to get out there this weekend and show everyone what I can do” said Seth who will be racing at Devils Bowl for the first time in his racing career.

Seth got off to a flyer last year on the opening weekend of the ASCS Northwest Tour with a fourth place and a Win on opening weekend. If he can repeat that performance he will be well on the way to establishing himself as one of the contendors on this years ASCS National Tour.
