2010 Season Only Weeks Away

The 2010 Sprint Car season is just weeks away for Seth Bergman and the team. 2009 was a roller coaster year on the ASCS National Tour with the results marred by a host of motor and mechanical issues throughout the season.

When things went right Seth had no problem matching it with the best on the tour and this was reflected with strong performances when the ASCS swung through the Northwest during the middle of last year.

Local race fans commented on how much more aggressive Seth had become as a driver in 2009 and this was evident as he pushed local stud Roger Crockett as well as the National Tour competitors at the Grays Harbor, Cottage Grove and Skagit races during the July swing. Seth’s highlight for this season was without a doubt his awesome win at the NW Wingless race in August. If you haven’t seen the footage check it out.

“I know that I have improved as a driver, when you race with those guys every week you just get better.” said Seth.

Motor reliability was without a doubt one of the biggest frustrations last year for the team and with the support of Superior Marine in 2010 the team is hoping to put that behind them with a brand new motor program for the up and coming season.

Seth had this to say last week. “I can’t tell you how awesome it is to have Pete and Superior Marine on board for this year. They helped us out tremendously last year and I am thrilled that they have come on board as our primary sponsor for 2010.”

Fans in the Northwest will be happy to know that the team will be running the full ASCS Northwest schedule this year as well as races at Skagit Speedway and additional races across the country when time permits.

The team learnt last year that you need a lot of time to prepare for a full season on the rode and as a result we have decided to spend the year winning races in the Northwest with a vision to go back on the rode nationally in 2011.
